Our Experiences

The open waters of Lake Ontario produce exceptional catches from April through October, and anglers keep returning because the lake offers nonstop action. It’s very common to catch multiple species in one outing, and as a result, each trip delivers a thrilling variety of challenges. Furthermore, every adventure provides lasting memories for anglers of all experience levels.

In early spring, fish remain near the shoreline; therefore, we use planer boards to spread lines far from the boat. Since these fish are shallow and easily spooked, stealth is crucial. Because the bite happens near the surface, you’ll witness powerful strikes. These fish are fresh, strong, and acrobatic, so they leap, dart, and twist wildly. Then, after a fierce fight, you might finally REEL ’EM IN!

As temperatures rise, the fish move deeper; consequently, we adapt our methods. At that point, we troll using downriggers and several additional techniques that reach the exact depths where fish are feeding. When a fish strikes, the downrigger trips and sets the hook automatically. From then on, it’s your turn to REEL ’EM IN!

Meanwhile, as summer turns into fall, the fish bulk up for their spawning runs. Additionally, massive King Salmon—often 25 to 30 pounds—become common. Because these salmon make screaming runs away from the boat, patience and endurance are essential. However, persistence, teamwork, and strength usually pay off. Eventually, after an intense battle, you’ll lift your trophy catch and proudly REEL ’EM IN!
